I had the pleasure of working for Sir Jack Petchey for 20 years - back in the 80’s in the earlier days - and have seen him go from strength to strength - I was always proud and am still today to say I was part of his enterprise - he was a very generous man and knew all his staff personally - when I got married he kindly gave me the use of his Rolls Royce chauffeur driven & also his apartment in Portugal for my honeymoon - and I returned back for many years with my family - we had the best times back then - Jack threw the best river boat cruise parties! I met some very interesting people and made some life long friends - I am saddened at his death and for the family and friends he has left behind but his name will go on and all the good work he did will continue - god bless you x
