For the last two decades, Sir Jack Petchey, has been a great inspiration to the young people of the Wimbledon and District Woodcraft Folk, with his motto, "if you think you can, you can". On a personal note as a youth leader for over sixty years, I have been greatly influenced by Sir Jack Petchey's life story, coming from humble beginnings to inspire so many young people.
