Recently attended a Jack Petchey Foundation awards night this week. Was very saddened to hear of his recent passing, particularly when I would see the incredible impact he has made. The night itself was both uplifting and inspirational-to both adults and children- what a wonderful and fabulous legacy. The world would be a much better place if there were more of the likes of Jack Petchey and his support for young people. I think it's hard being a young person these days- this foundation really brings home those values and aspirations that should be encouraged and celebrated. I applaud both Sir Jack Petchey and all those that work in the foundation. Tremendous work and long may it thrive and continue.
