Tribute to Sir Jack Petchey CBE

Thank you Sir Jack! I participated and won the regional of the Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge, I was chosen for the grand final came third before going on to be a judge at regionals for two years. That single opportunity opened so many doors for me and now I can report back and say that speaking is now a part of my career and I am eternally grateful! Meeting you Sir Jack and having everyone fondly refer you as ‘grandpa’ as you beamed with immense pride at us all is a lasting memory I will never forget! Thank you for remembering that young people are worthy of investing in and always providing ways where our voices and identities are championed! God bless you and rest well 🕊️🙏🏾
