Tribute to Sir Jack Petchey CBE

We were very sad to hear the news of Sir Jack Petchey CBE's passing. We joined the Foundation over ten years ago and it has provided our children the recognition that otherwise would be overlooked. Sir Jack Petchey has inspired our children to develop their interests which makes them unique and for our staff and families to recognise their amazing achievements. Each year our children choose their top three favourite nominations which are shared amongst our year 7-9 children. The three winners are awarded a grant which gives children scope to further invest and develop children's specialist areas of interest. We have also greatly benefitted from Sir Jack Petchey's Environment and Educational Visit Awards. We will remember Sir Jack and his work fondly, and ensure that our children continue to take part in the opportunities available through the scheme.
