The world is a much better place due to Sir Jack Petchey. The young carers at our centre have really loved having their achievements recognised through the Jack Petchey Achievement Awards, and the almost 600 young carers we support have benefitted from the funding for trips and equipment from these awards, from the Educational Visits Fund, and from the funding for residentials through London Youth. We went on a residential just last weekend and the young carers had the chance to experience new activities, make new friends, and just be children for a while. Thank you so much Sir Jack - a life well lived, and an incredible legacy!
